Can Making Dreams Come True Be As Easy As Brushing Our Teeth

What if making dreams come true is just so easy? Can we let go of our doubts? Is it possible? How can we do it so magically so that it is as easy as brushing our teeth? This excerpt from ONE Book by Masami Sato shows us exactly how to do it step-by-step, preparing you to start walking towards your dreams today.

All of us have dreams. But all of us do not have faith in ourselves so that we can have those dreams and live them in our lifetime. In fact, the secret to have such assuredness is simple. And the reason why we hesitate so much is also straightforward.

Let’s begin with the first question that we can ask ourselves

Why don’t we do the things we want to do?

Often, our thoughts stop our actions. Sometimes the more we think about it, the less we become committed to accomplish what we initially wanted to do. Because the more we think about it, we come up with more and more reasons for not doing it.

Then is it possible that one can be certain that one will definitely accomplish what one wants to do in his life?

Sure, absolutely! To start with, let us look at the power of habits

If we have to be present at a meeting tomorrow night, we would not be spending too much of time thinking whether we would be able to get there or not. We would not be worried about the possibility of having a car accident and failing to attend the meeting. In fact, when we go to use the toilet, we are unlikely to worry if it might be out of order.

We are always more assured about these day-to-day activities that happen every day. These are the habits.

However, we are doubtful about our dreams

Most interestingly, there are plenty of things we are not equally sure about. Particularly the things that we really want to in life – our Dreams!

So, what is the secret for the assurance that we will realize our dreams?

First: Decide to make it a daily habit!

We can start being more certain about our actions to meet our desires-the type of desires that really nourishes our life.

So, for example, if your dream is to give and contribute to society and giving is a key desire in your life, there is no reason to doubt that it’s possible for you to contribute to others. It can just become one of your daily habits.

Second: Try to make it as important (and as much easy) as brushing teeth..

Achieving our dreams can be just like brushing our teeth. It wouldn’t feel good if we didn’t brush our teeth for a long time, would it? We wouldn’t spend hours thinking of which toothpaste to use or delay the good feeling of having clean teeth for other ‘priorities’. We feel uncomfortable if our teeth are not clean. So we just clean them!

Looking at our example, if giving is what we desire most, then we should ask ourselves a few questions: What if giving is truly as important as brushing one’s teeth? What if it is giving us a comfortable feeling? What if it aids in remaining healthy?

Irrespective of how much or how little we own right now, we surely can start offering it and sharing it today. As such, no matter how improbable the realisation of dreams might appear, we can start walking towards them today. We can definitely do, if we see it as a crucial issue, a top priority that we should stick to every day! Then we will be uncomfortable if we do not do it. Just like cleaning our teeth.

and Third: Give first, then we will get

When we start giving before we even have what we hope to get – that which we dream of – we are sending out a powerful message to ourselves which tells us, ‘there is enough, and more will come.’ It allows us to feel the joy today – the joy of giving.

If you want to be wealthy, be munificent. Then you are sure to be blessed with abundance. If you are intelligent enough to do so, do not hesitate to teach others. Then you will learn more. If you feel like giving, just give the whole of you. And do it without expecting anything in return. Just let go. The act of giving is its own reward. The simple satisfaction of giving.

So do not be hesitant to dole out and share what you have, for it will not prevent you from achieving your purpose, whatever it is. It will only help you to realise your dreams more easily. And your journey through that path would be full of joy.

But are not habits smaller, in comparison with our BIG dreams?

Just do it, don’t be concerned about the ‘scale’

Anything can happen in life. Things may develop in a small way. And these small things might take us to another action, and that will connect to another. The sureness we feel about our actions, and managing them one by one, keeps on taking us forward. But if we think that it is not possible to do something now, just because it is a little formidable, it simply will not happen.

The power to achieve one’s dreams has always been there, and will always be there. Those who have managed wonders, sensations, and real joy, already know this. They go on using it.

Visions and miracles do not happen accidentally. We choose to create them.

So, would you probably start going towards your dreams today?

Cause Marketing – A New Solution – Buy1GIVE1 (Buy One Give One)

Buy One Give One (BOGO) is the home of transaction-based giving.

STOP. Take a breath. And imagine you were part of a world where every single transaction made a difference.

Imagine, for a moment, you purchased a TV, and automatically a cataract-blind child got the gift of sight. Automatically. Or imagine if today you purchased a cup of coffee and someone in Africa got access to clean, pure water as a direct result. Again automatically.

It’s all happening right now. Already Buy1GIVE1 (B1G1) has become a true global giving ‘village’, bringing together businesses, their customers and worthy causes in a way that’s never been done before.

It’s happening globally, every second, every day and in every way with a staggering 556 projects already underway and making a difference.

That’s because in the Buy1GIVE1 world, every single sales transaction, be it buying a cup of coffee in Cape Town or renting a car in Reno (and everything in between) gives back in a well-defined, resonant and measurable way.

In this present economy, when both corporations and charities have seen a decline in profits and contributions, cause-related marketing appears to really be catching on. Cause-related marketing is a business scheme involving a partnership between a company with a merchandise to sell and a charity with a cause to advance. Unlike “corporate philanthropy,” which simply includes a company making a tax-deductible charitable contribution, cause-related marketing benefits both the company (by helping to increase sales, and thus, profits), and the charity (by bringing in contributions and calling attention to the cause.)

You buy a book, a tree gets planted. You dine out, a child gets fed. Buy One Give One – simple. The list goes is endless and the giving simply happens automatically, every second, every day and in every way.

And it is beautifully simple. Buy1GIVE1 is now becoming a global movement as more and more businesses jump on board and enjoy the incredible benefits of transaction based giving.

In Buy1GIVE1, they made sure that in many cases, the consumers are not simply involved in CSR initiatives on a day-to-day basis. Buy1-Give1 gives solutions to that and it does it every second, every day and in every way.

Bumblebee type analysis

1. Change-making bee

A giving bee who likes to see change – who spots every opportunity to do something better and worthwhile. A change-making bumblebee often starts up new interesting projects for others to participate in. A flexible thinker who can collaborate well with others while often taking a leadership position in making change. Many business people and inventors are this type of giving bumblebee. They are not afraid of having change.

2. Believing bee

A giving bumblebee who believes in one core belief very strongly and inspire others to follow. Rather than changing all the time and being way too flexible, this giving bee attracts others by being solid like a rock and integral to the unshakable belief and vision. Some of the religious leaders as well as political leaders are this type of giving bumblebee. Believing bees makes for a great leader who attracts masses of followers. This bumblebee also can be a great follower who strongly supports an existing belief and excites others to come together.

3. Caring and nurturing bee

A giving bee who may not stand out as a firm leader but actually are the biggest heart focused giver. A caring and nurturing bumblebee is selfless in giving and is always first to take the giving action when seeing anyone in trouble. Though this bee seems gentle and caring, the strong desire to give and care for others drives this giving bee to demonstrate some marvelous giving acts. Many people who dedicate their lives to giving (volunteering, community service etc) are this type of bumblebee. Giving is totally natural to them.

4. Supporting and uniting bumblebee

A giving bumblebee who sees the largest value in connecting and cooperating in effective partnerships. This giving bee is very focused on finding existing great ideas, mechanisms, philosophies or beliefs to benefit the community. It tends to support what resonates with him/her more often than coming up with a brand new way. A supporting and uniting bee is less attached to own way and has more flexible mind while being quite strategic about what to support. Rather than taking direct action emotionally, this bumblebee sees the value in creating the long-term unity. Long-term ‘quiet’ charity givers and those who take low profile in community giving but stick to the same project for a long time are more often than not this type of bumblebee.
