Making Money With PLR Is Possible If You Already Write

There are so many writers who are struggling to make a living writing online. The truth is that this is a competitive business, and one that often drives prices down and down.

As a freelancer you can write articles or ebooks for customers and be paid per article or per word. One of the big problems is that many of the competitor writers out there charge very low fees and so they are hard to compete with. Although the quality of their work might not be as good as yours, it is still often difficult to compete with such low fees.

In this article I’m going to show you the huge possibilities for making money selling PLR. There really is a world of difference between the potential for earnings.

Making Money By Writing One-Off Articles

The amount that you charge for your writing work is completely up to you but for this example let’s say you charge $10 for a 500 word article. If you write 10 articles for a customer you would earn $100 for those articles.

Income for Writing PLR Articles

Let’s say each article took 30 minutes to write, which works out at an income of $20 an hour. Now if you were to set up your own PLR business you could write 10 articles and sell them in a pack for $10. If you were to sell 50 packs of those articles you would earn $500.

So, when each article takes you 30 minutes to write, this means you could have been earning $100! This is a huge difference to your unique article pay rate, and the best thing is that the money will come in for a long time as you sell the articles over and over again.

Of course when you first start out you won’t sell 50 packs straight away, it will take a little bit of time to build up clients but as long as you offer good quality articles, many of your clients will return and buy more in future. So when your PLR business is established with some good return customers, you will easily be able to sell 50 packs of your articles.

Conclusion

A PLR business is a very good way for any writer to make money online. There are many places where you can advertise your PLR article packs, such as the Warrior forum, and it won’t take long for you to build up a good client base and start making a great income.

You only need these few items:

Internet access on your computer. The understanding that you need to be a hard worker The willingness to use new skills you will learn

1. One of the fastest ways to make money online is with Affiliate Marketing. You can join most Affiliate programs for no charge. Often, you are given a website with the products and information about the Affiliate’s program already on it. So you are actually marketing the Affiliate’s products for them. In return, you are paid a percentage of the sale. This is great for the Affiliate because it increases their sales. This is great for you because you get paid and don’t have to deal with the customer or the products – it is all done for you.

2. PLR, also known as Private Label products are a fast way to get that income streaming in. PLR are digital products that you have the right to change as you see fit. You can also put your name on them as being the author. These products can be turned into e-books, used as articles to submit to e-zines, used on your blog, turned into e-courses, or even given away for free. The limit of your imagination is the only limit of what can be done with PLR. This article is a PLR product!

3. Blogs are easy to start and lots of fun, too. Several sites give you free blogs and a blog does not have to be hosted. Your blog can be about anything you like. Plus, it is a great place to put ads, the links to your Affiliate sites, or just about anything else.

4. There are millions of blogs on the internet. All of them need content. Many blog owners do not have the time to write and are looking for writers. So, if writing is something you enjoy and you can use the spell check, you might want to give this a try. Start by searching for blogs in the areas of your interest. Spend some time reading the posts and then offer your services to the blog owner. Remember, content is king of the Web.

5. Selling things is a great way to start your online business. Craig’s List and eBay were made for this. First sell some things you have that you don’t need. Then go to garage and estate sales and resell those items. Once you really get into this you will probably want to work with a drop shipper. This allows you to sell the product, have the drop shipper ship it to your buyer. This was you don’t have to keep any inventory. Both sites have their own rules and regulations so make sure you are familiar with them. Oh, and be sure a photo gets uploaded so your buyer can see what you have to sell.

These ideas are meant to get you started on your business. It’s best to pick one and get it going before you jump into something else. Choose just one Affiliate and get that going before you add a second. Get yourself some PLR to rewrite and start selling it. Things will come together and the next thing you know you’ll have your own at home, online business.

Persevere! Decide on something and stick to it. Money is being made all over the internet. You deserve to share in that wealth.

Using PLR Content in your Offline Marketing

Many people believe that Private Label Rights (PLR) work is useful for online marketing only. This could not be further from the truth. Good PLR material is just as useful offline as it is online. There are multiple ways that you can use PLR content for offline marketing efforts. Here are five tips to effectively use PLR content in offline marketing.

Tip #1 – PLR can be used for Email Auto-responders.

Your clients might want autoresponders from you. When you are using email as a marketing tool for offline clients, you may have a difficult time finding material to use. Getting content strictly from newsletters can be limiting.

Not anymore. There are PLR articles for just about any business in the world. Is your client an optometrist? A lawyer? No problem. Whatever business your client is in, chances are you can pay just a little bit for autoresponder content and save a whole lot of time.

Tip #2 – Generating Web Traffic

If your local clients have websites and want to generate more traffic to their site- it’s easy to use PLR content in this manner. Simple seek out PLR articles or content similar to the company or topic you are working with and convert it to the company’s needs.

For example, you can take a PLR article titled “How to Find an Optometrist” and change it to “How to Find an Optometrist in San Francisco”. Take this article and submit it to article directories or put it on your client’s webpage for great search engine traffic.

Tip #3 – Sell it As a Product

One of the best ways to use PLR content offline is to convert this information to tangible products to either give away or sell to consumers. If you have a grouping of similar articles or information, you can group them together into one package and create a booklet, book on tape or CD to give out or sell.

Tip #4 – Use it for Lead Generation

Giving PLR materials away as incentives is a great way to use this content in offline marketing efforts. You can generate a lot of useful leads that way.

Tangible items like printable eBooks or DVD’s can be given away to those interested in the company or service. If you want to reduce costs you can just give these things away on your website in a digital format.

Tip #5 – Use PLR Content to Build Credibility

The PLR content is often written by informed professionals in their particular field. As someone who is knowledgeable in their area of expertise, you can write a column.

A good example would be a seamstress who wants to find more clients. She can buy ad space in a sewing magazine and use the column to write some interesting content to get new leads.

Be Creative

Remember PLR content can help you in many ways with your offline marketing campaigns. Don’t forget all of those good marketing principles you’ve developed along the way. Be creative and have fun with it to see positive results.
