Using PLR Content in your Offline Marketing
Many people believe that Private Label Rights (PLR) work is useful for online marketing only. This could not be further from the truth. Good PLR material is just as useful offline as it is online. There are multiple ways that you can use PLR content for offline marketing efforts. Here are five tips to effectively use PLR content in offline marketing.
Tip #1 – PLR can be used for Email Auto-responders.
Your clients might want autoresponders from you. When you are using email as a marketing tool for offline clients, you may have a difficult time finding material to use. Getting content strictly from newsletters can be limiting.
Not anymore. There are PLR articles for just about any business in the world. Is your client an optometrist? A lawyer? No problem. Whatever business your client is in, chances are you can pay just a little bit for autoresponder content and save a whole lot of time.
Tip #2 – Generating Web Traffic
If your local clients have websites and want to generate more traffic to their site- it’s easy to use PLR content in this manner. Simple seek out PLR articles or content similar to the company or topic you are working with and convert it to the company’s needs.
For example, you can take a PLR article titled “How to Find an Optometrist” and change it to “How to Find an Optometrist in San Francisco”. Take this article and submit it to article directories or put it on your client’s webpage for great search engine traffic.
Tip #3 – Sell it As a Product
One of the best ways to use PLR content offline is to convert this information to tangible products to either give away or sell to consumers. If you have a grouping of similar articles or information, you can group them together into one package and create a booklet, book on tape or CD to give out or sell.
Tip #4 – Use it for Lead Generation
Giving PLR materials away as incentives is a great way to use this content in offline marketing efforts. You can generate a lot of useful leads that way.
Tangible items like printable eBooks or DVD’s can be given away to those interested in the company or service. If you want to reduce costs you can just give these things away on your website in a digital format.
Tip #5 – Use PLR Content to Build Credibility
The PLR content is often written by informed professionals in their particular field. As someone who is knowledgeable in their area of expertise, you can write a column.
A good example would be a seamstress who wants to find more clients. She can buy ad space in a sewing magazine and use the column to write some interesting content to get new leads.
Be Creative
Remember PLR content can help you in many ways with your offline marketing campaigns. Don’t forget all of those good marketing principles you’ve developed along the way. Be creative and have fun with it to see positive results.
