Microsoft Training

Many people wish to train in IT, be it to get a solid qualification or to obtain more knowledge, however the costs of training can be large and can put people off. IT training courses for Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco etc can costs too much for many people to pay out and so people miss out on the qualifications that they can give you.

There are options however; if you choose to carry out your certified training off-shore, then you can become qualified for approximately 50% of the cost of equivalent training in the UK. You can undergo certified Microsoft training, or Cisco, or Oracle training for that matter, and where the course occurs is not important.

The most important thing is to choose to conduct your training with a company that has a history of delivering top class results for all their students, but at a significantly reduced cost. It is obviously important that the quality of the course instruction is as good as that of UK based courses, so you should check your chosen company thoroughly to check that they offer truly first class tuition.

Obviously it depends on exactly how long your course is as to how much you will save compared to UK companies, but as stated above, it is usually around 50% which is obviously a huge reduction in your job acquisition costs. A certified Microsoft, Oracle or Cisco trained person will hugely increase their job prospects as the qualification is respected in all countries and industries.

Another advantage to training off-shore is that one-to-one tutoring is usually available and so on top of the huge saving there are to be made, you can also complete you training in a much shorter time-frame than would be possible with a UK large group course. Training is available in many countries but the best companies are located in or around India.

The decision to go and train abroad can be a huge and potentially life-changing one, so before you commit yourself to a particular company, you should ensure that they can deliver on all of their promises by checking their history of students and their pass rate, and that their training is fully approved and certified.

Do You Feel like You’re Wasting Time? Here Are Five Tips for Successful Time Management

Do you find yourself daydreaming on the job? If you are like most people, you just want to be able to come home and enjoy the pleasures of life. Unfortunately, we all have a job to do, and in order to do it thoroughly, we must learn how to remain focused on what we should be doing. But that is not always so easy to do.

Did you know that there are only 168 hours in the week? That is not a very long time at all if you think about it. A large majority of us do not get done want we would like and end up putting off until tomorrow what could be done today. That is where effective time management comes in.

Given below are 5 tips that will help you to utilize your time much better:

1. Put it on your schedule. For everything you need to get done during the day, literally put it on your schedule. In addition, make time for both work and play. Schedule everything and then follow the schedule to the letter. If you want to spend some time at the gym, for example, make sure you put on the schedule, and make it part of your routine.

2. Write out a list of things to do either each night before heading to bed, or first thing in the morning. Stick to your to-do list each day. Once you have completed one task, mark it off until you have moved down the list. Write out your list starting with the first thing that needs to get done, all the way down to the very last task of the day. If you follow this method, you will never be behind.

3. Do not allow yourself any distractions such as the television, cell phone, social websites, etc. Remember, there is a time for work, and a time for leisure. Distractions are okay, but only after the work has been completed.

4. Put “must do” before “can do.” Organize your list so that the things that have to be done get done, and those that can wait until another day can be moved inside. It’s likely that you’re not always going to get everything done on your list, especially if you’re particularly busy. Stay realistic about what you can and can’t handle for a particular day, and just keep checking things off. You will get through it.

5. Mix harder and easier tasks on your list. It’s easy to get overwhelmed if you’re continually putting hard tasks before easy tasks, but it’s just as easy to get distracted if you try to do all the easy ones first before the hard ones. By “changing out” what you’re doing and switching back and forth from easy to hard, you keep your energy up so that you get more things done. You can also spread more difficult tasks out over the course of a week, and pick certain days to do particular projects if you need to break them up specifically.

Remember that it’s all about planning ahead. Of course, complications can occur, too, so be prepared to sometimes skip absolute completion of your schedule on any given day. Still, you’re going to get a lot more done if you plan ahead, and your time will be more productive, too, if you have a schedule — and you keep that schedule largely intact.

Learn New Languages through an LMS Online

Even with the growing popularity of LMS online courses, only 8.6 out of each 100 university credits taken by U.S. students are for studying a foreign language, according to the U.S. Department of Education. In contrast, about 56% of Europeans are masters over at least one non-native tongue, according to a recent Eurobarometer survey. It’s an embarrassing truth: Americans are pretty limited in language skills, minus their native tongues.

The U.S. is among the most well-off nations on the planet, with access to the best technology. Given this, why aren’t more Americans capitalizing on language acquisition resources such as online and in-person tutors, and university and LMS online language courses?

Of course, LMS online language courseware is rather special. Different from other learning topics which maintain their liveliness on the page, language requires out loud practice; sole dependence on online courseware may not work out for many students.

For learning a language, a blended learning environment is really ideal. In order to become fluent, students need to listen to and repeat words and phrases. Although an online course can ask learners to listen to and repeat, pronunciation is something that needs to be coached in person, and from an early point in a student’s learning experience. And when possible, it’s best to combine face-to-face with online learning regardless of the topic.

When well-maintained, an LMS online language course is effective. Particularly for high schools, LMS online language courses help solve many problems facing schools today, such as: scant language course offerings, language teacher shortages, a lack of interest in traditional language acquisition, the rise in home-schooling and lack of AP classes in some areas, and the lack of physical space and funding.

When required interaction and language practice with other students is online, shyer students may feel more comfortable. Online programs like VoIP services, LMSs, podcasts, instant messaging, and screen and audio recordings are just a few ways language students can apply and practice their second tongues.
